📘 Project Snapshot

Client: John Deere
Role: Executive Producer
Platforms: Web · Mobile · YouTube · Minecraft Education
Timeline: 2019–Present

As Executive Producer for John Deere Kids, I led the development of a scalable learning ecosystem designed for families, educators, and Gen Alpha learners. My work spanned the creation of an interactive digital hub, over 60 original educational videos, and the production of FarmCraft, a branded Minecraft world in collaboration with Microsoft Education. I also played a key role in expanding the business footprint through creative partnerships and branded content strategy.

💡 Challenge

John Deere sought to evolve its brand identity for younger audiences by building trust and excitement around STEM, agriculture, and sustainability. The solution had to:

  • Engage kids on their terms—through video, web, and gaming

  • Earn parent and educator trust with structured, age-appropriate content

  • Scale across regions and content formats while maintaining brand integrity

  • Extend the brand beyond awareness into repeatable learning interaction

  • Foster strategic partnerships and business growth within the youth/education space

🚀 My Role & Contributions

  • Platform Development: Designed and launched an interactive web hub for content discovery, filtering, and learning pathways, tailored for family and classroom settings.

  • YouTube Channel Leadership: Produced and released 60+ original animated and live-action educational videos. Oversaw all aspects from scripting to delivery.

  • Creative Direction: Defined voice, tone, and visual brand identity for John Deere Kids across web, video, and game content.

  • Minecraft World – FarmCraft: Produced the John Deere–branded “FarmCraft” Minecraft world in collaboration with Microsoft Education, bringing sustainable farming concepts to life through immersive play.

  • Strategic Business Development: Played a lead role in expanding John Deere’s family/education strategy through new partnerships, content channels, and campaign opportunities.

  • AI-Enhanced Content Systems: Implemented generative AI tools to prototype interactive storytelling modules and improve scalability.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborated with internal brand teams, educators, engineers, and agency partners to unify vision and execution across formats.

📈 Results & Impact

  • Built a scalable, multi-platform ecosystem for engaging Gen Alpha and millennial families

  • Launched the John Deere Kids YouTube channel as a long-term branded storytelling engine

  • Produced 60+ educational videos with measurable growth in engagement and viewership

  • Created FarmCraft, a branded Minecraft world downloaded globally in educational settings

  • Expanded John Deere’s business footprint in the education and family space through content innovation and strategic partnership development

🧠 What I Learned

  • Gaming is the new literacy—FarmCraft showed us that immersive play can teach sustainability better than a textbook

  • Brand storytelling must be modular—success meant building flexible systems, not one-off pieces

  • YouTube is both a publishing channel and a product—we treated it with the same rigor as any interactive platform

  • Business development is creative strategy—growth came from aligning educational value with branded content opportunities

  • Cross-media storytelling must feel unified—every asset, from video to Minecraft, reflected the same kid-first narrative approach
